You’ve decided to build a new home – congratulations!

So, what’s next?   Follow our handy process guide below.



First, meet with your mortgage lender. The lender will help you establish the loans programs that will serve you best, and find a price range that will be comfortable for you to live with. The lender will also provide you with a letter that shows that your are qualified to purchase a home at a specified price. That letter will mark you as a qualified buyer, and someone who is serious about finding new home. When you know your price range, it will be easier for your realtor to help you find a home plan and price that will work for you.  Next, you will schedule an appointment with the Byler Contracting office to discuss your options.




Know what you want and need, it will make the process easier. Before you meet with the builder, spend some time outlining the features that you are looking for in a home. Then, when you meet with Dennis and his staff, they can work with you to find a house plan that fits the needs of your family, and lifestyle. Choose from one of the many pre-drafted plans available, or have the in-house draftsman customize a plan just for you. Once you have established a home plan, you will need to find your location. Byler has access to many available building sites, but If you prefer, you or your Realtor can find one that better suits you. Once you have the house plan and the land chosen, contract paperwork will be drafted and signed.



When you build with Byler Contracting, you are in control. You will be able to choose everything from the placement of the house on the lot, to the countertops and flooring in your new home. Byler Contracting is known for quality construction and timely building schedules. When you build with Byler, your home will be completed within 90-120 days from the date of the signed construction contract. Once your home is complete, you will sign and finalize closing documents at the title company, then you are ready to move in!
